Peter Stark, Conductor, & Friends – A Classical Music Concert
Peter Stark is Professor of Conducting at the Royal College of Music and Rehearsal Director of the European Union Youth Orchestra. With a renowned international reputation as a teacher, Peter travels extensively to teach and conduct famous youth orchestras around the world, and has been a consultant for BBC television and radio productions. Peter lives in Rockbourne when he is not travelling, and the concert on 28th June is the product of four days’ work with students in Rockbourne Village Hall – his 60th conducting course in the UK alone. 12 musician friends of Peter’s will perform pieces by Haydn and Richard Strauss.
